Schools that have shown poor performance over the past two years should be identified, and the deputy directors (administration) must take appropriate steps to address the issues faced by such schools, noted Ullagaddi.</p><p>Based on the analysis of SSLC results from 2023-24 and 2024-25, schools that have recorded below-average performance compared to the district average must prepare long-term, medium-term, and short-term action plans to improve their results. Field education officers, deputy directors (administration), and deputy directors (academic) must ensure that all aspects of the plan are being effectively implemented in schools.</p><p>Teachers should be instructed to consistently use the lesson-based assessment question banks developed for students from classes 1 to 10 in state syllabus schools, at every stage from teaching to evaluation.</p><p>Given the ongoing heavy rains, it is of utmost importance to ensure that all classrooms and other rooms in schools are in good condition. Classrooms that require repairs should not be used instead, alternative rooms should be arranged for classes.
