An estimated loss of Rs 15,000 has been reported in Karkala taluk as three houses were partially damaged owing to heavy rains. The houses belonged to Laxmi Moily of Idu village, Kusu Merthy of Meejaru village and Vasanth Samagar of Nandalike village.
Udupi taluk has incurred a loss of Rs 13,000 as two houses were damaged. ing the wee hours.
