<p>ADGP Dr P Ravindranath, accused of clicking pictures of two women at a coffee shop on Cunningham Road, is making every possible effort to get his transfer order revoked and get a posting in Bangalore.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Ravindranath met Director General and Inspector General Police L R Pachau on Thursday and submitted a letter to him, expressing his willingness to withdraw the resignation and continue as IPS officer. <br /><br />During the meeting, he requested the DG&IGP to ensure him a posting in Bangalore, instead of Dharwad, as his daughter is studying in Bangalore. <br /><br />However, he failed to get any positive assurance, said sources.<br /><br />He went to the office of the State police chief on Nrupatunga Road, along with his wife Sridevi in the morning. <br /><br />“The DG&IGP has assured me that he will forward my request to the State government. I will discharge my duties in any location in Bangalore,” he said after the meeting with Pachau.<br /><br />“I tendered resignation as I did not want to affect the probe by CID. I wrote a letter expressing willingness to withdraw the resignation, after the intervention of my relatives and well-wishers,” he said.<br /><br /> “My wife suggested me to continue the battle being a police officer,” the officer said.<br /> <br />Pachau told Deccan Herald, “I have forwarded Ravindranath’s letter to the principal secretary for further action.” <br /><br />“I suggested him to approach the government with a request to settle the matter, as reinstating an officer or posting him at a particular location is not in my hands,” Pachau said.<br /><br />Ravindranath went to the CID office later to appear before the investigating officer. <br /><br />“I co-operated with the CID officers and gave whatever information they sought during inquiry,” he told reporters.<br /><br />“I provided them information regarding both the cases (lodged at the Cubbon Park and High Grounds police stations). I will continue to cooperate with them till the investigation is completed,” he added.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Bangalore City Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar also went to the CID office and appeared before the investigating officer to recorded his statement.</p>
