Retired judge to probe class 9 girl’s childbirth case in Karnataka school

Shahpur (Yadgir District): A retired judge has been appointed as the investigation officer in the case of a class 9 girl giving birth to a baby at a residential school in Shahpur, executive director of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society Kantharaju P S has said.

The deputy director of social welfare department is the nodal officer. The probe officer will submit report in a month. The main suspect has been arrested.
