Two flee with cash meant for Canara Bank ATMs

The police are on the lookout for two employees of a Mumbai-based cash management company who are on the run with Rs 5 lakh which they were supposed to load into ATM kiosks in and around the city.

The accused have been identified as Yogendra Kumar Sahu (27) and Praveen Kumar (22), working with Writer Safeguard Pvt Ltd, a cash management company.

Suresh Kumar, the manager of the firm has lodged a complaint stating that the duo was given cash of Rs 1.69 crore to be loaded into Canara Bank ATMs. The duo loaded Rs 1.64 crore and pocketed the rest. The missing funds came to light during an audit. Officials were unable to reached the duo when they tried to call them.
