<p>With 15th edition of <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/india/karnataka/bengaluru/aero-india-bengaluru-to-host-asias-biggest-air-show-in-february-2025-3217911">Aero India</a> scheduled to begin in the second week of February (10-14) at the Yelahanka Air Force Station, the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/bbmp">Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP)</a> has announced restrictions on the sale of meat and non-veg food in select regions of Bengaluru North.</p><p>To be specific, the restrictions will be imposed on a 13 km range surrounding Yelahanka Air Force Station from January 23 till February 17. </p><p>This measure has been taken as safety precaution to avoid bird hits during the aeroplane practice sessions.</p><p>Birds of prey, particularly eagles, which feed on leftover food and meat waste, will be kept off the skies during the air show.</p>.Karnataka govt bans flying of drones, balloons during 'Aero India 2025'.<p>India's Suryakiran fighter jet team and Saarang helicopter aerobatics teams are participating in the Aero India 2025 event.</p><p>"Any violation of this will attract punishment under BBMP Act 2020 and Indian Aircraft rules 1937 rule 91," reads the BBMP notification.</p>.Aero India 2025 aims to have technology transfer above Rs 75,000 crore, says Defence Ministry .<p>Bengaluru, India’s silicon city has been hosting Asia’s biggest air show since its inception in 1996.<br><br>Indian Air Force's Tejas jets, Sukhoi and other military aircraft will also be performing aerobatics in the sky at Yelahanka.</p>
