The LPG outlets run by oil marketing companies - Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) - on Monday said they suffered losses of more than Rs one crore due to the autorickshaw strike.

Bangalore has 84 auto LPG fuel stations, most of which wore a deserted look on Monday. The government also lost a huge sum on taxes.
