Bengaluru metro pink line 2026: Everything you need to know

Bengaluru's much awaited Namma Metro Pink Line is expected to open in May 2026. The much awaited 21 km line is said to ease the commute for Bengalureans across the city.

Here is all you need to know about the Pink Line.

The Pink Line connects Kalena Agrahara and Tavarekere (Swagath Cross Road) via a 2.5-kilometer elevated section and a 13.76-kilometer underground route, making it one of the city's most complex metro projects.

Here is a list of six stations that the new line will cover:

1. Kalena Agrahara

2. Hulimavu

3. IIM-Bangalore

4. J P Nagar 4th Phase

5. Jayadeva

6. Tavarekere

The new line will also connect to several corridors for easier interchange facility for commuters. Here are the interchange stations that the Pink Line will connect to:

1. Jayadeva (Yellow Line)

2. M G Road (Purple Line)

3. Dairy Circle (Red Line)

4. Nagawara (Blue Line)

5. J P Nagar 4th Phase (Orange Line)

Namma Metro also plans to expand its largest proposed corridor with a branch line connecting the upcoming international sports complex in southeastern Bengaluru.
