<p>Bengaluru: Two more people were held in the recent murder of a rowdy sheeter in east Bengaluru, taking the total arrests in the case to seven, police said on Monday.</p><p>The arrested suspects are Arun alias Temu and Naveen, both in their thirties. Arun was from RS Palya and Naveen from Banaswadi, police said. </p><p>“The two played key roles in the murder and are currently in judicial custody,” a senior police officer said. “We have learnt that it was Arun who butchered the victim during the attack with weapons. Naveen also played a similar role,” he added.</p><p>Shivakumar alias Biklu Shiva (40), was murdered near his residence in Meanee Avenue Road in Bharathinagar on the night of July 15. As per the FIR, it was the MLA who backed the assailants. He has been summoned again on Wednesday.</p><p>Probe intensified to trace the prime suspect</p><p>Meanwhile, Jagadish alias Jagga, named as accused one in the FIR, remained at large. On Sunday, the police searched his Bengaluru home and office and reportedly found some "incriminating documents".</p><p>“Investigation is underway from all angles. We are going from bottom to the top and will soon arrest all those responsible,” a senior officer told <em>DH</em>.</p>
