Bescom discontinues ATP machine service to pay electricity bills

Bengaluru: Bescom has decided to discontinue the Any Time Payment (ATP) machine services for electricity bill payments at its offices.

According to a release, the consumers can continue to pay their electricity bills through cash payment counters at Bescom sub-divisional offices, BangaloreOne, KarnatakaOne centres within Bescom's jurisdiction and online payment methods such as the Bescom website and the Bescom Mithra app.

“Additionally, bill payments can be made using Spot Billing Devices, Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS), NEFT, and ECS (Electronic Clearing Service). Payments can also be made via UPI (Unified Payments Interface) payment platforms, such as Google Pay, Phone Pay, Paytm, and BHIM,” a statement by Bescom said.
