Zakir Khan, a Bengaluru-based interior designer and a bike enthusiast, has designed India’s longest chopper bike, with the biggest rear wheel. The bike will be launched at the Auto Show in Bengaluru.

“It took me 45 days to design this 13-foot bike. I intended to create a record with this bike. This is my third customised bike. All my customised bikes are chopper bikes, and will stand out on the city’s roads,” Khan told DH.

Khan has customised the Avenger 220 cc engine and tuned it to make it more powerful. The front shock absorber is six-feet long, which beefs up the cruiser aspect of the bike. The goose bumping skull head lamp with the thunderous sound is another highlight of the bike. “The fuel tank has a capacity of 50 litres, and it gives mileage of 7 km/l. The front wheel is the same dimension as the Royal Enfield 500 cc bike’s rear wheel. The rear wheel is again my concept and I have also designed the drum to my specifications,” added Khan.

The key attraction of the bike is the twin exhaust, which is placed beside the fuel tank. Khan has made the exhaust more attractive by fitting an extra piece at the mouth, that rotates when the rider is cruising. The bike will be displayed at the Auto Show at Durga Parameshwari BDA Grounds, JP Nagar 2nd Phase, from July 13 to 15.
