A 34-year-old doctor was found hanging at her residence in Puttenahalli in JP Nagar on Sunday evening.
The deceased Soumya worked as a dentist at a private clinic, while her husband is a software engineer. The couple has an eight-year-old son.
Though Soumya's parents accused the husband of foul play, the police have registered a case of unnatural death and said investigations are on.
A senior police official said Soumya's parents, who live in Koramangala, kept calling her phone and found no response. When they reached her residence in the evening, they found her hanging. They rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead. Later, the Puttenahalli police were alerted about the incident.
