<div align="justify">A car driven by a drunk driver claimed the life of a 25-year-old motorcyclist in the city on Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Anand, a native of Belagavi. He was working as an executive with a private firm in the city.<br /><br />According to police, Anand and his colleague Naveen Kumar were returning home from work when a speeding car knocked their bike down on Bommanahalli Road. Passersby shifted both of them to a nearby private hospital where Anand was declared brought dead. <br /><br />Taken into custody<br />The car driver, identified as Manjunath, was found drunk and the police took him into custody immediately.
