Free B Com seat in Bengaluru's R V University for Pahalgam terror attack victim’s son

Bengaluru: RV University, Bengaluru, has given admission to a Pahalgam terror attack victim's son free of cost. 

Considering the request by Bangalore South MP Tejasvi Surya, the university has given admission to Abhijaya, the son of the terror attack victim Manjunath Rao, to the B Com course. 

Abhijaya has secured 97 per cent in the second PUC examination. 

Surya mentioned this on X and said, "Responding to my request, the RV institutions have come forward to sponsor and support the degree education of Abhijaya M, son of Late Sri Manjunath Rao, who lost his life in the tragic Pahalgam terror attack on 22nd April 2025. Grateful to the Rashtreeya Shikshana Samithi Trust (RSST) for stepping up and standing for this national cause. Every Bharatiya must stand with one another." 

The university has provided education free of cost, along with food and accommodation.
