<p> The city will witness cold and cloudy weather for the next two days due to the low-pressure area over Tamil Nadu and surrounding areas, an IMD forecast said.</p>.<p>According to C P Patil, Director-in-charge of India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bengaluru, most parts of the state were experiencing light rainfall, cloudy sky and drop in maximum temperature due to this system.</p>.<p>South interior and coastal Karnataka will receive scattered rainfall for the next two days. After which the temperature will continue to fluctuate, Patil added.</p>.<p>Up to 5.30 pm, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 24.8 degree Celsius and a minimum of 20 degree Celsius, and traces of rainfall.</p>.<p>Patil said as it was cloudy, the day temperature has dropped. The night temperature was gradually increasing from the normal.</p>.<p>The minimum temperature in the city on Thursday had increased by 3.2 degree Celsius.</p>.<p>Patil added that the formation of systems and rainfall was part of the northeast monsoon and could continue till December end. There can be depressions leading to heavy or no rainfall also.</p>
