<p>A series of video lectures by noted literary critic H S Raghavendra Rao on 20th-century Kannada literature is now available on YouTube. Titled ‘Nooru Mara Nooru Swara’ (A Hundred Trees, A Hundred Tunes), the lectures cover various literary phases such as Navodaya, Navya, Bandaya, Dalit literature, and Women’s Writing, as well as genres like poetry, theatre, and criticism.</p>.<p>The series also covers prominent literary figures, including Kuvempu, Shivarama Karanth, Da Ra Bendre, Masti Venkatesha Iyengar, Pu Ti Narasimhachar, K S Narasimhaswamy, Madhurachenna, Gopalakrishna Adiga, Yashwant Chittal, P Lankesh, U R Ananthamurthy, and Poornachandra Tejasvi.</p>.<p>Rao is a senior Kannada literary critic and translator.
