However, the real measure of the hike impact was noticed in March, when average daily ridership plunged to 7.24 lakh, a decrease of nearly 80,000 compared to January's 8.03 lakh. </p>.<p>Ridership figures for May have not yet been released. The BMRCL has also not disclosed farebox revenue since the hike. </p>.<p><span class="bold"><strong>Glitch at Majestic</strong></span></p>.<p>A technical glitch at the Majestic interchange metro station disrupted train services on the Purple Line during Monday morning peak hours. </p>.<p>The BMRCL stated that the glitch lasted three minutes, and train services were quickly restored. </p>.<p>However, its impact was felt for much longer. At Majestic, passengers had to wait for more than 10 minutes even after 11 am.
