Now, bus timings on Uber app

Imagine your ride-hailing app letting you know where you can take a bus from to your chosen destination?

Uber is now listing out bus numbers, routes and timings. Metrolife looked for bus details from different areas like Maruthisevanagar, Vittal Mallya Road, and Mahadevapura.

On Tuesday morning, at 9.25 am, the app showed three buses available from Marathahalli to Rajajinagar, with a wait time ranging from 6 to 15 minutes. At 10.20 am, from Vittal Mallya Road to Kammanahalli, three buses could be taken — 25, 27 and 57 minutes away. 

At 12.15 pm, when Metrolife checked for buses from Maruthisevanagar to M G Road, it displayed that three buses were available between 9 and 21 minutes away, which could take the passenger to Shivajinagar, from where he/she would need to board another bus to M G Road.

The app also shows the distance one will travel, the different bus stops on the route, and additional buses needed to reach the final destination, along with their timings.
