<p>Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) have announced restrictions on vehicular movement and parking on Sunday for the inauguration of Namma Metro's Yellow Line by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. </p><p>As per the itinerary shared by the Chief Minister's Office, Modi will participate in three public functions during his four-hour stay in Bengaluru. </p><p>After landing at the HAL Airport at 10.30 am, the Prime Minister will travel to the KSR Bengaluru (city) railway station. Between 11.45 am and 12.50 pm, he will travel by the metro from Ragigudda to Electronics City. </p><p>At 12.50 pm, he will travel by road from the Electronics City metro station to the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Bengaluru, located in Electronics City Phase 1. </p><p>At the IIITB auditorium, he will inaugurate the Yellow Line and lay the foundation stone for Namma Metro's Phase 3. He will then travel by helicopter to the HAL Airport and fly out to Delhi at 2.45 pm. </p><p>The BTP has announced traffic and parking restrictions, citing the large number of dignitaries and citizens expected to attend the metro inauguration ceremony. </p><p>Traffic will be shut on the following roads: </p><p><strong>8.30 am to noon</strong></p><p>*Marenahalli Main Road: From Rajalakshmi Junction to Marenahalli 18th Main Road. </p><p>*From Marenahalli East End Main Road Junction to Aravind Junction.</p><p><strong>9.30 am to 2.30 pm</strong></p><p>From Silk Board towards Hosur via Electronic City elevated expressway and Hosur Road.</p><p>From Hosur towards Bengaluru.</p><p>On roads in Electronics City Phase 1 such as Infosys Avenue, Velankani Road and HP Avenue Road.</p><p><strong>Alternative routes</strong></p><p>*Vehicles coming from Rajalakshmi Junction along Marenahalli Main Road towards Jayadeva Hospital Junction can take a left from the Banashankari Bus Stand side via Sarakki Market Road/9th Cross Road, proceed through IG Circle, RV Dental Junction and reach Jayadeva Hospital Junction via 8th Main Road-9th Cross Road Junction. </p><p>*Vehicles can also reach Bannerghatta Road through Sarakki Junction via the Outer Ring Road. </p><p>*Vehicles coming from 4th Main Road heading towards Jayadeva Hospital Junction can take a right at Rajalakshmi Junction, a left on Sarakki Main Road, proceed through IG Circle, RV Dental route, and reach Jayadeva Hospital Junction/Bannerghatta Road via 8th Main-9th Cross Junction. </p><p>*Vehicles coming from East End Circle heading towards Banashankari can take 29th Main Road, turn left on 28th Main Road, reach 8th Main-9th Cross Junction, take a right at Delmia Junction, and continue through the Outer Ring Road, turn right at Sarakki Junction, and proceed towards Kanakapura Road and Banashankari. </p><p>*Vehicles coming from Hosur Road towards Kanakapura Road, Mysuru Road and Tumakuru Road should take Jigani Road from Bommasandra Junction and reach NICE Road via Bannerghatta Road to travel further. </p><p>*Vehicles on NICE Road heading towards Hosur should exit at Bannerghatta Junction and proceed via Jigani Road to reach Hosur Road via Bommasandra Junction. </p><p>*Vehicles coming from Hosur Road heading towards Sarjapur Road, Varthur, Whitefield and Hoskote should take Dommasandra Road from Chandapura Junction to reach Sarjapur Road and continue. </p><p>*Vehicles coming from HSR Layout, Koramangala, Bellandur, Whitefield and city areas heading towards Hosur should take Sarjapur Road via Chandapura to reach Hosur. </p><p>*Vehicles in Electronics City Phase 1 should use 2nd Cross Road, Shikaripalya Road, Hulimangala Road and Gollahalli Road for movement. </p><p><strong>Parking will be banned along these roads: </strong></p><p>Marenahalli Main Road</p><p>4th Main Road</p><p>18th Main Road</p>
