<p>Bengaluru: A 25-year-old man died after crashing his bike on the Jnanabharathi Outer Ring Road in the southwestern part of the city on Wednesday night.</p>.<p>The accident occurred around 9.15 pm near PVP School, Mariyappanapalya. There was heavy rain in the area at the time of the accident.</p>.<p>The police said the deceased, Keerthi, was speeding from Ullal Junction towards Mariyappanapalya Junction when he lost control of his KTM bike and fell on the road. He sustained severe head injuries and lost consciousness. Although passersby rushed him to a nearby private hospital, he was declared dead.</p>.<p>The police said that Keerthi was a resident of Ullal and worked at a private factory.</p>.<p>The Jnanabharathi traffic police have registered a case under sections 281 (rash and negligent driving) and 106(1) (causing death by negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).</p>
