<p>Bengaluru: The Cubbon Park Walkers' Association has lodged a police complaint seeking action against the state government and other authorities for the damage caused to the iconic green space during the RCB celebrations on June 4. </p>.<p>Association president Umesh S filed the complaint at the Cubbon Park police station on Sunday. </p>.<p>According to the complaint, a large crowd thronged Cubbon Park — located adjacent to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium — for the RCB's victory celebrations. </p>.<p>The crowd damaged the park fence, ornamental plants and tree branches, and defiled the area, the complaint read. </p>.Adopt foolproof crowd control measures: Congress top brass.<p>"Till date, there is no assessment done to the damage caused to the assets of Cubbon Park. Further, in spite of conditions placed to keep the Cubbon Park safe, there has been a dereliction of duty by the state machinery," Umesh stated. </p>.<p>He urged the police to take action in accordance with the law against the state government, the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), event management company DNA Entertainment Networks Pvt Ltd, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Army Sub-Area, which owns the stadium land, for "failing" to maintain the law and order. </p>
