Talent show by tweeple in city

Talk of The Town (TOTT) in association with Rangavalle and The Big Little presents ‘Twitterotsava’, a first of its kind talent-show exclusively for and by the people on Twitter on Sunday.

Conceptualised and curated by Sanjay Nagaraj of TOTT (@TalkOf_TheT0wn), the show aims at using the social media platform in a positive manner. He says, “The basic plan was to provide a platform for the people on social media. I think the online platforms can be more than just for entertainment”.

The performers for the show were found by Sanjay with the help of his tweeple circle. He shares, “All the performers are on Twitter. I didn’t know them; we met only after deciding on the show”.

He adds that being active on Twitter for six years helped him find the right talent for the show. He first approached ten people in the beginning, but because of the time constraint, the number of performances is brought down to 6 /7.

It took him six months to plan the event. Initially, ‘Twitterotsava’ was to happen on November 25 but was postponed on the demise of actor Ambareesh.

The event will also be attended by ‘Lucia’ fame Sathish Ninasam and the team of his new movie ‘Chambal’. Sanjay also plans to make ‘Twitterotsava’ a yearly event.

*The event is for four hours, and the audience will also be served free breakfast at the venue.
