<p>A 31-year-old software engineer jumped from the 13th floor of his office building in Bhamane Tech Park and died on Thursday afternoon.</p>.<p>The deceased has been identified as Amlan Burman, an Mphasis staffer and a native of Assam. Around 1.45 pm, he went to a coffee shop on the 13th floor and jumped down, said the police.</p>.<p>He relocated to Bengaluru with his mother Shikha Burman a year ago and was staying in Mahadevapura.</p>.<p>Shikha Burman told the police that he was under medication for depression. After two days leave, he was back at the office on Thursday.</p>.<p>He told his colleagues that he would go to the coffee shop for a cup of coffee. On hearing an alarm, his colleagues rushed downstairs and found him lying in a pool of blood, said the police.</p>.<p>The police did not find any death note. A case of unnatural death has been registered.</p>
