<p>Bengaluru: A man from Tamil Nadu, who had come to Bengaluru to visit relatives, died in a road accident near Electronics City on Saturday night.</p>.<p>The police identified the deceased as Ramesh Jyothimani (39), a resident of Krishnagiri.</p>.<p>Jyothimani arrived in the city by bus and got down near Konena Agrahara. Around 10.15 pm, while crossing the road near the entrance to the elevated expressway connecting to Electronics City, a speeding bike hit him.</p>.<p>Due to the impact of the collision, Jyothimani fell onto the road and sustained severe injuries. Though he was immediately rushed to St John’s Hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival.</p>.Electronics City expressway to shut for 7 hours at night for major maintenance.<p>The police reported that the bike rider, who was commuting on the highway at 60-70 kmph, sustained a fracture and other minor injuries and is said to be out of danger.</p>.<p>The police added that Jyothimani had come to the city to visit relatives residing in Bommanahalli.</p>.<p>Upon receiving information about the incident, the Madiwala traffic police visited the spot, conducted an inspection, registered a case, and have initiated further investigation.</p>
