<p>Bengaluru: Hulimavu police have registered a case after unidentified people chased a man, entered his apartment complex, and allegedly attacked him, officials said.</p>.<p>The FIR was registered on Monday following a complaint by Mohammed Ishtiaq.</p>.<p>The case was booked under BNS Sections 118 (1) (voluntarily causing hurt or grievous hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 126 (2) (wrongful restraint), 324 (4) (mischief), 329 (4) (criminal trespass), and 351 (2) (criminal intimidation).</p>.<p>As per the FIR, Ishtiaq, 58, was driving his car at 2.50 am on August 10 towards his house when unidentified men stopped his car. When he tried to speed away, the suspects allegedly attacked the vehicle with stones.</p>.<p>Ishtiaq told the police that the unknown people followed him and trespassed into his apartment complex at BTM Layout 4th Stage and began hurling expletives. At the time, his family was also at the scene. "They punched me near my lower lip, leading to the loosening of a few teeth," the victim was quoted as saying in the FIR.</p>.<p>CCTV footage of the incident accessed by DH showed at least five to six people attacking Ishtiaq inside the apartment complex. Police have launched a detailed probe.</p>
