The shutterbugs had a field day as the two young players, who shot to fame after their brilliant performances in the IPL, flashed their smiles and patiently answered everyone’s questions. Metrolife chatted with the two men from the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), who looked striking in their immaculate suits and striped shirts. <br /><br />“It’s great to be back in my City,” smiles Bangalore-boy Manish, who resides near M G Road. “The only difference now is that people recognise me.” What does he like to do in his free time when he is not rigorously training? “I love going out with friends and watching movies.” Which was the last movie that he saw? “Angels and Demons, and I loved it,” he smiles again. Who are his cricketing inspirations? “Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar,” he is quick to answer. <br /><br />Virat loves Bangalore and has been coming here regularly for the past five years. “I just love the weather, and I have so many friends out here,” he exclaims. In his free time, he loves to drive and play on his Playstation. <br /><br />“It was obviously disappointing to have lost at the last minute but we shouldn’t lose hope,” says Virat referring to the RCB’s performance in the IPL finals. “Don’t worry, we will win next year,” Manish assures the RCB fans. Do they feel that 20-20 games are more to do with luck than anything else? Manish disagrees, “Only a small part of it is luck.” What are the places that the two love to play at? “South Africa,” answers Manish, while Virat loves playing in England. <br /><br />The lads are now looking forward to the local leagues and the Champions Trophy. “I am working really hard and aiming extremely high,” says Virat.
