Taking the music from the conventional setting to public space, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) will celebrate the World Music Day at the metro station in an open and accessible way.

Providing a platform for both upcoming and well-established artistes to present their music to the public, the BMRCL will hold the event on June 19 and June 26 at the Bengaluru Santhe (Bangalore Haat) below SV Road Metro Station as well as at the Rangoli Metro Art Center on MG Road.

The event will feature professional music groups to amateur music artistes - including first timers or solo artistes. The BMRCL will provide basic amplifier and other required equipment.

Participants willing to bring their own sound equipment should give the details to check for their suitability.

The last date to register for the June 19 event is June 17. The event will be held at the Bengaluru Santhe, Nagasandra Metro station and MG Road Metro station. Those wanting to participate in the event on June 26, should register before June 24. The event will be held at Rangoli Metro Art Center, MG Road. Registration is online www.bmrc.co.in and open from June 12.
