BJP, JD(S) leaders should react on conviction: DK Shivakumar

New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Saturday said that the JD(S) and BJP leaders should react to the conviction of former Lok Sabha member Prajwal Revanna in the sexual assault case. 

He told reporters here, "You should ask for reactions of JD(S) and BJP leaders, than asking for my comments. They have to tell us what is right and what is wrong. We respect the law and abide by it. Why are BJP leaders like C T Ravi, Ashok and Narayanaswamy not talking about this?” 

Asked about Prajwal Revanna terming the allegations as a conspiracy during the trial, he said, "I don’t know about it and I do not want to comment on the court’s judgement".

On the protest by state transport corporation workers clashing with Rahul Gandhi’s protest in Bengaluru, he said, "The transport minister has already spoken to them, it will be resolved soon".
