<p>Gowda, soon after his arrival from Gujarat, was closeted with his senior party leaders and Sangh leader Santosh at Krishna, the home office of the chief minister, it is learnt. <br /><br />The present KMF president, G Somashekara Reddy, brother of former minister Janardhana Reddy, who is in CBI custody, insisted on being continued in the post, forcing the chief minister to take a tough stand. <br /><br />The meeting discussed the KMF election in addition to the controversy surrounding Lokayukta Shivaraj Patil for alleged flouting of norms while purchasing sites. There is a growing demand seeking Patil’s resignation.<br /></p>
