Committed to conducting the zilla and taluk panchayat elections, notification will be out in 2-3 months: Priyank Kharge

Hubballi: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge said that the notification for the long-pending ZP and TP elections in the state will be issued within the next two to three months as the reservation process is currently underway.

Speaking to reporters here on Wednesday, Kharge said, “The notification will be out in two to three months. We are committed to conducting the zilla and taluk panchayat elections as scheduled."

When asked about the remarks by Supreme Court against Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, he said, “Villagers near the border are saying Chinese troops have entered.”
