Kannada language has diverse slang which are becoming extinct. Beary,Tulu, Konkani and Kodava identified as sister languages of Kannada are also facing threat. Workshops to discuss the evolution and shifts in the regional varieties of Kannada language will be held on all the four days of the event, KDA Chairman Mukhyamantri Chandru said. on Thursday.
