Cricket lover dies on the field

Ananth Kemathur (49), a resident of Malmaddi, collapsed while fielding during the play. Dr Ashok Kulkarni, and others, who were present at the spot administered first aid, but in vain.

“Kemathur was playing cricket daily in the morning for the past 35 years. He had a passion for cricket, and passed away while playing his favourite sport” said Dr Kulkarni.
