<p>The Speaker said this in reply to senior Congress member T B Jayachandra’s stating that the report has drawn a lot of criticism from all quarters denting the image and dignity of the House.<br /><br />There had been no controversy or adverse comments on any Legislature committee and their findings in the last five decades. Noted personalities have been indicted in this report. There is a provision in the rule book to rectify lapses, if any. The Speaker, therefore, should take an appropriate decision to protect the respect of the House, he said. D K Shivakumar, one of the panel members, has rejected some of the recommendations made in the report and requested the Speaker to withdraw it and make necessary amendments.<br /><br /></p>
