<p>Susheela Nada, a Koraga tribal woman is leading a fight to reclaim the dignity and rights of her marginalised community.</p><p>Koragas are one of the PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) in Karnataka. For centuries, the tribe has faced caste based oppression, discrimination and social exclusion. But Susheela is determined to change that. She is now working as the president of The Koraga Abhivruddhi Sanghagala Okkoota, a state level federation formed in 1998 to enable Koragas to lead a life of dignity. Susheela's interventions resulted in a ban on the oppressive Ajalu practice in Karnataka. Susheela is now helping her community to build their life. </p>
