<p>Bengaluru: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) on Thursday took Pallavi, accused of killing her husband and former state police chief Om Prakash, into their custody for seven days after obtaining her body warrant from a court, a well-placed source told <em>DH</em>. </p>.<p>Pallavi was arrested by the HSR Layout police on Monday based on circumstantial evidence. She was lodged in the Parappana Agrahara prison. </p>.<p>Preliminary investigations revealed that Om Prakash and Pallavi got into an argument during lunch at their home in HSR Layout on Sunday. The argument escalated and she allegedly fatally stabbed him. The couple's daughter, Kriti, was also present in the house at the time. </p>.Plantation owner found murdered in Karnataka's Ponnampet taluk.<p>In his police complaint, the couple's 38-year-old son Karthikesh named both his mother and sister, saying they were suffering from “depression”. </p>.<p>The police took Kriti to Nimhans for a medical examination. </p>.<p>Considering the complexities of the sensational case, the city police transferred it to the CCB for further investigation. The HSR Layout police handed over the case files to the CCB on Wednesday. The police plan to summon Kriti for questioning soon, sources said. </p>
