Fire erupted at a pumphouse of the Raichur Thermal Power Station here on Thursday.
Cables and wires of machines were gutted in the blaze. The fire started from the 415 V switchgear. Fire personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force brought the blaze under control. RTPS chief executive director C B Yellatti rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
