<p>Mangaluru: A fire gutted two shops and a goods vehicle near the Clock Tower in Mangaluru in the early hours of Saturday.</p><p>Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and successfully brought the blaze under control. </p><p>According to an official from the department, the fire is suspected to have originated in a scrap godown, possibly due to a short circuit. </p><p>It quickly spread to an adjacent cloth store and also engulfed a goods vehicle that was parked inside the godown.</p>.Two dead, four injured after gas cylinder blast triggers fire in Agra silver factory.<p>As a result, clothes, dress materials, and scrap goods were completely destroyed in the fire.</p><p>The Pandeshwar fire station received the alert at 4:20 am.
