<p>Bengaluru: Kolar Congress MLA Kothur G Manjunath raised questions over Operation Sindoor and wondered if the Pahalgam terrorists, who killed 26 people, were "deliberately allowed" to come into Indian territory.</p><p>The Opposition BJP and JD(S) slammed the Congress lawmaker for 'insulting' the Indian armed forces.</p><p>"What have they (armed forces) done? Nothing! Flying a few planes is bunkum. Is that the solution to the deaths of 26 men? Is this how you console the women who lost their husbands?" When he was asked about the Centre saying at least 100 terrorists were killed, he said: "They claim that, but who knows?"</p><p>Manjunath said the Centre must clarify on whether or not there was a security lapse. "Was there an intelligence lapse? Were they (terrorists) deliberately allowed to come in? We need to know what's true and what's false," he said.</p> .<p>Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy lashed out at Manjunath. "Is Congress an political party in India? Or, is it a party that speaks for the enemy nation?" he said. "Manjunath's statement is the Congress' inner voice. Let's send Manjunath to Pakistan so that he can witness the Indian Army's prowess first-hand."</p><p>Leader of the Opposition R Ashoka recalled how Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's statement -- "war isn't necessary" -- was aired on Pakistani media. "After Siddaramaiah became an overnight star in Pakistan media, it looks like another Congress leader is eager to become a star in Pakistan media.
