<p>Two former contestants of Kannada reality show <em>Bigg Boss</em> were booked for brandishing weapons on social media, the police said on Monday.</p><p>The suspects, Rajath Kishan and Vinay Gowda, both residents of Bengaluru, were arrested by the Basaveshwaranagar police. They were initially issued notices to appear before the police.</p><p>However, the machete seen in the video appears to be made of fibre, and thus they cannot be sent to judicial custody, DCP West Bengaluru <a href="https://x.com/ANI/status/1904398278801727560" rel="nofollow">told</a> <em>ANI</em>. </p><p>'Right steps were taken,' he assured. </p><p>The two were initially booked under Section 270 (public nuisance) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and relevant provisions of the Arms Act.<br><br><em>(With DHNS inputs)</em></p>
