Free ambulance service flagged off in Madikeri

Narayana Multispeciality Hospital in Mysuru has commenced a free ambulance service in Madikeri from Saturday.

The service was flagged off by DHO Dr Mohan and senior doctor Dr Patkar.

Speaking on the occasion, cardiologist Dr V Keshavamurthy said that the hospital aims to provide super speciality treatment to those patients who require it.

A few doctors from Mysuru will visit the hospital of Dr Mohan Appaji in Madikeri once a week and specialist doctors from Narayana Hrudayalaya will visit once a month to provide services.

The ambulance service can be used to visit any hospital in Mysuru on the advice of doctors from Madikeri.

The ambulance has all modern facilities, BP checking machine, stretcher, primary aid kit, oxygen kit, pulse oximeter and others.

Dr Patkar also spoke on the occasion.
