Moderate to heavy rain continued to lash several parts of Shivamogga district on Saturday.
Shivamogga, Hosanagar, Thirthahalli and Bhadravathi received good spell of rain intermittently.
Heavy rain lashed Thirthahalli in the morning and Shivamogga, Hosanagar in the afternoon. Water level in Linganamakki dam rose to 1,782.85 feet as catchment area received 60 mm rainfall.
Kodagu district experienced moderate rainfall. Bhagamandala, Talacauvery, Napoklu and Madikeri received intermittent showers.
The inflow of water to Harangi reservoir has increased to 8,482 cusecs. In the last 24 hours (ending Saturday 8 am) the district received an average of 32.92 mm rainfall. This includes 78.6 mm in Bhagamandala and 63.2 mm in Madikeri.
