<p>Madikeri<strong>:</strong> Heavy and continuous rains lashed Kodagu district on Monday as well.</p><p>Even though the intensity of rainfall has reduced in Madikeri and Virajpet regions, the rains have not stopped.</p><p>The rainfall has intensified in Somwarpet taluk.</p><p>The water level at Harangi reservoir in Kushalnagar taluk has risen by 2 feet in a single day. On May 25, the water level was at the mark of 2832.78 feet, while on May 26, it reached 2834.70 feet. The inflow is 1,693 cusecs. The maximum level of the dam is 2,859 feet.</p><p>Chiklihole reservoir is overflowing.</p><p>During a 24-hour period between 8 am on Sunday and 8 am on Monday, rainfall of 22.50 cm was recorded in Bhagamandala alone.
