<p>Kolar: Vice Chancellor of the Kolar-based Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, G H Nagaraj, will award an honorary doctorate to CM Siddaramaiah in recognition of his contributions in public service.</p>.<p>The VC announced this during the 15th annual convocation of the institute at its campus on Thursday.</p>.<p>“The executive body and the academic board of the institute has resolved to present an honorary doctorate to CM Siddaramaiah. The two-time CM has presented 16 budgets. He has scripted a new history by implementing guarantee schemes for all communities. No other government has achieved this,” the VC said.</p>
