Hosamata bridge inundated by heavy rain

The Hosamata bridge on Uppinangady Kadaba road was inundated on Wednesday following heavy rain in Kadaba region from Tuesday night.

Due to copious inflow into the river, water began flowing over the bridge and hampered traffic plying on it. This in turn affected the traffic on Uppinangady -Subrahmanya state highway.

School, college students and office-goers from Uppinangady and Kadaba were inconvenienced.
