Hunsur: One injured during bypoll campaign

One person was injured in a clash between the two groups over a petty issue in Hunsur taluk on Monday night.

The incident occurred at Bilikere village, in Mysuru district, during the campaign for the byelections to be held on December 5.

A group was canvassing for the Congress candidate, when a few youths of the village picked up a quarrel. The wordy duel ensued in a minor clash, and a youth Chikka was injured in the melee.

He has been admitted to K R Hospital in Mysuru for treatment. Bilikere Police have registered a case.
