I am disciplined solider of BJP, says Vijayashankar

 “I am a disciplined solider of the party. Keeping in mind the fact that party is above individual, I have decided to contest from Hassan constituency,” said BJP candidate from Hassan constituency C H Vijayashankar. 

Addressing BJP workers meet at Kadur on Sunday, he said  “I hail from Mysore. I was MLA and MP from Mysore constituency. Hence I had decided to contest from Mysore. However, the party high command had decided to field me from Hassan. The BJP workers should unitedly work towards making Modi as Prime Minister.”  

“There is a need to overthrow the Congress rule in the country. If the Third Front comes to power, then it will end up in mid-term election, which will be a burden to the country. For the safety of the country and transparency in administration, Narendra Modi should become the Prime Minister,” he said. I will file nominations on March 24.

Former MP Tejaswini said “I had joined the BJP without any expectations. Inspite of working hard during the Assembly elections, I was disappointed by the Congress and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The UPA government has failed to solve the issues like rise in price rise, soldiers from China intruding into the Indian territory, fall in rupee value and intrusion by Pakistan soldiers.

Having failed to solve economic crisis, Finance Minister Chidambaram is running away from contesting fearing defeat in the election,” she added.   

MLA C T Ravi said that the voters should not be carried away by the crocodile tears of father and son, referring to Deve Gowda and H D Kumaraswamy.Hassan BJP leader Navile Annappa, ZP former president Belli Prakash among others were present.
