I brought Ambareesh into politics: H D Kumaraswamy

Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy on Friday said that he introduced actor turn politician late Ambareesh to politics.

He was speaking to reporters, here. The CM said a few people are misusing the actor for political benefits. "I am the person who brought him to politics," he said.

Ambareesh' wife Sumalatha, also an actor is preparing to contest for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections despite opposition from JD(s), which has a strong hold in Mandya.
