<p>Mysuru: With copious rains in Kerala's Wayanad and Karnataka's Kodagu district, the inflow into the dams in Cauvery basin - KRS, Kabini and Hemavathi dams, has increased.</p><p><strong>KRS dam</strong></p><p>The Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) dam in Srirangapatna taluk, Mandya district, received around four feet of water in one day. More than 20,000 cusec water is reaching the dam from Tuesday evening. The inflow is likely to increase further, according to Cauvery Neeravari Nigam officials.</p><p>The water level of KRS dam was 93 ft as on May 27 (Tuesday), as against the maximum level of 124.8 ft. The water level on Monday was 89.32 ft. The outflow is 364 cusec, which is being released for drinking water purposes.</p>.High alert at KRS dam; KSISF deployed near all dams in Cauvery basin.<p>The water level on the corresponding day last year was 83.2 ft, with 2,893 cusec inflow and 537 cusec outflow.</p><p><strong>Kabini dam</strong></p><p>Kabini dam at Beechanahalli in H D Kote taluk, has received around 9 ft water in the last two days. The water level as on Tuesday was 2,269 ft as against 2,284 ft maximum level. The inflow is 22,000 cusec and outflow 300 cusec.</p><p><strong>Hemavathi dam</strong></p><p>The water level of Hemavathi dam in Gorur, Hassan district stood at 2,901 ft as against the maximum level of 2,922 ft. The inflow was 17,812 cusec and outflow 3,225 cusec.</p>
