Speaking at the annual college day celebrations of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, he said alumnus should be the goodwill ambassadors of their alma mater. Dr M R Shetty, Secretary of M V Shetty Memorial Trust, Mangalore, in his presidential address urged the students to be creative and innovative in their approach and advocated to indulge in more research-oriented activities and to participate in various seminars.
