Probably you have to answer how far it is scientifically proper to do this white-topping. Because there are many reports that say that it is not advisable. Is it a periodic mechanism evolved by you or when the monsoon comes or when a PIL is filed?” the Chief Justice asked.</p><p>The PIL, filed by concerned citizens, seeks several directions to the BBMP, including submission of an action taken report on repairing potholes, especially those posing grave risks to commuters, and implementation of a mechanism allowing citizens to file complaints about poor road conditions.</p><p>The BBMP counsel confirmed that an affidavit regarding the pothole-filling status had been submitted, but further clarifications are expected at the next hearing.</p>
